A network of possibilities!

The future is bright for trail options in Person County following the County Commissioners’ November 2020 support of Triangle Trails Initiative, TTI. This cooperative effort will facilitate the connection of Person County trails with that of Durham County.

The County is also actively working on approvals for the County Farm located at the south end of the county. This location will boast trails for mountain biking, hiking and walking! Stay tuned for more news

What is coming next?

Stay tuned in 2023 for a new Person County trails park.

County Farm Park- 281 acres in southern Person County was approved at the January 3, 2023 commissioners meeting.

There will be a new county park with a walking track, hiking, and biking trails on the Allensville landfill site on Cedar Grove Church Road near Brann’s Wrecking service as you head east out of Roxboro on Depot Street.
